Hell Freezes Over - I Am Rooting For Ohio State

Post by psk836 » Wed Aug 19, 2020 3:45 pm

For trying to put together a Big 10 football season.

https://dailycaller.com/2020/08/19/ohio ... ternative/

“The Buckeyes have been incredibly vocal about their unhappiness with the Big 10 canceling football during the coronavirus pandemic, and it sounds like the wheels are still spinning on a plan, according to OSU insider Jeff Snook.”

“Snook reported that OSU wants to set up a 10-game home-and-home schedule in the fall starting in late September or in early October. Iowa, Nebraska and Penn State are reportedly willing to go along with the plan. OSU is working on convincing Michigan and Wisconsin to fall in line and buck the Big 10’s stupidity.“

I doubt the pansies at Michigan will go along. Hopefully all their players transfer.

I like it. Split the Big 10/14 into two conferences:

The Actual Big 10
University of Illinois
Indiana University
University of Maryland
University of Michigan
Michigan State University
University of Minnesota
Northwestern University
Purdue University
Rutgers University
University of Wisconsin-Madison

The Moron Four
Ohio State University
Pennsylvania State University
University of Nebraska-Lincoln
University of Iowa

For the purpose of a football discussion "the moron four" as you call them has the only school in that conference that is a legit national title contender and plays big boy football. Michigan has a nice little team and can often make a New Years day Bowl about every other year or so.

Rutgers (after seeing news coverage about a Tornado that damaged the town pretty badly) actually sued a tiny little High School in Ruston Louisiana over the block R logo that High School uses on it's football team. So F*** Rutgers.

"Rutgers University took legal action against Ruston’s Block “R” logo, saying it owns the rights to the symbolic “R”; however the logo has been on many buildings of Ruston High school for years."
