Battle of Britain Day 15th Sept 1940

It was the peak of the Battle of Britain, the RAF fought the Luftwaffe with everything it had in the South of England, Winston Churchill asked Air Vice Marshall Keith Park, what reserves were there, the reply was none.

Everything was on a knife edge.
If we had lost air superiority we'd have faced invasion.

On the 15th of September, get yourself a cold one, or a warm one, and raise a glass to liberty and all the lives who fought to maintain it.
