It allows the bearing of arms but how far does that go ?
Are you allowed hand grenades ?
Are you allowed bazookas ?
Anti aircraft guns ?
Guided missiles ?
Napalm ?
It is badly out of date and needs to be updated for the modern times.
Only question is will all the criminals obey it?
Criminals, by definition, don't obey laws. They do things like get shot by Capitol police while breaking and entering.
You still obsessed with that capital protest? Not one of them shot anyone, yet that cowardly cop executed and unarmed woman.

They also break into white people's homes, assault them, steal things

You sure are f***** in the head to be obsessed with that miniscule Capital protest. It's like you make a mess out of yourself while playing with yourself watching that cop execute and unarmed woman.

And our troops were armed to the teeth, with tanks and apaches.
And killed loads of them, still lost to the insurgents though.
Same thing's happened in Afghanistan.

Everything from a knife to a nuke constitutes arms, nobody ever complains they can't openly carry a bazooka or drive around with an ICBM.

We don't need those to shoot some black guy or Hispanic that tries to rob you at the gas station or break into your home.

I thought only nobrain came up with stuff like this

You can probably make napalm, but what good is it if you don't have an airplane to drop it from.

What good is a bazooka if you aren't allowed to shoot it anywhere?
If you don't need them, why do you insist that they be allowed to be sold? You don't need an AR 15 to protect yourself. If you were a rational, thinking individual, you'd recognize that protecting your home is better served with a shotgun. You don't need to be as accurate and you're not putting your neighbors in danger from stray shots. I'm betting that under the pressure of a shooting situation, you wouldn't be very accurate.

One of the biggest complaints about the 5.55 and 7.62 rounds is that they often pass through the targeted individual without knocking them down. You won't have that issue with a 12 gauge.

I never insisted napalm or mortars be allowed to be sold, dumbass.

I also don't need you to lecture me what I need or don't need.

You liberals don't need gay marriage or abortions, so there.

Wrong again. The 556 round is very unstable and starts tumbling after it touches anything

With the law and the orders to stop. The same thing you cheer every black person being killed by a cop for not doing. There was nothing arbitrary about that traitor being shot while participating in an insurrection.

So you agree there are limits, gun controls, required in our society?

And tell me, what happens if the 5.56 doesn't hit anything to start the tumble? Would you believe a Vietnam vet writing in the American Thinker?

https://www.americanthinker.com/article ... am_ki.html

To quote the conclusion, "The lethality of the 5.56mm cartridge, sold on lies, cannot be fixed in truth. It is time the Department of Defense recognizes this 'Big Lie' from the Vietnam War and in the names of MSgt Kevin N. Morehead and SFC William M. Bennett replaces this varmint cartridge with one that gives our warriors that critical capability described by SFC Paul Howe above——one—round knockdown power!"

Either you insanely advocate unlimited unrestricted ownership of all forms of weaponry (including nuclear) however useless it may be in day to day life, or you advocate some controls.

Controls do not have to mean a complete and total ban that disarms everyone.

If you believe some weaponry should not be in the hands of civilians then you are not alone.

If you believe that an AR15 is unnecessary for home defence, you are not alone.

A shotgun, whether double barrelled or pump action is the best option for close range self defence in a situation where you need to use a gun for self defence.

If you are into target shooting and want a good range rifle, by all means get one, in any calibre.

But if you want a self defence weapon, there's nothing better than a shotgun.
