If you wish to upload your own avatar, the ideal size is 100x100 px. You can re-size avatars easily here: http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/

phpBB has a selection of avatar packs I could upload for the board if you see anything you like, but trust me most are lame: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styles/avatars-14/

nice collection. i told somebody the other day that the phpBB avatar packages are lame, and that they would be much better off finding their own somewhere and uploading. I think that's what most do anyway, although I have added dozens more in the gallery now

What about "racist" avatars, like those which deliberately contrast #@#$%$#@ sapiens with simians? Will those be allowed? I have one of Barack and Moochelle I would like use, but out of the deep respect I have for the management of the board I would never put up such a thing withiout axing first.
