There is an auto-purge of any thread that has been inactive for 18 months. We had to do something because the database simply grows and grows otherwise, and that starts getting frighteningly expensive.
If someone posts in a thread, the 18-month clock starts over on that thread
***edit in other words, odds are that a few threads go away every morning.

I was looking for the thread where I asked "after 8 years are you better off under 0bama" and ly'in said he was better off because 0bama got his local fire station a new pumper. Not trying to call out or anything, just wonder what happened to it.

I'm not a regular poster on this board, but I do remember Lion saying that....
And I'm sure Lion won't deny it, I think.....evil was just being his usual @ss-hole self......

I dont have a dog in this fight, but I seem to remember that quote.
To clarify the auto-purge, there may have been some threads less than 1.5 years that were purged, but now all forums purge at 1.5 years unless there has been activity
