SSL certificate purchased for AIBAFS

Post by Pete » Wed May 24, 2017 8:18 am

I will turn https on tomorrow. Our host tells me the switch cannot be done from mobile and I am traveling today. No action is required from any member

LOL... good choice... if it were me, I'd try the mobile option when I was home, sitting in front of the computer to fix anything that breaks...

Are you good on funds?

Money is OK. They tore my ass up though because I also SSL'd another site and paid a couple more years on another site. $300+ for all that

Visiting godaddy is like a trip to Costco... you're never getting away for cheap.

Dear Secure Certificate Customer,

Congratulations on becoming an SSL certificate owner for the domain: aibafs.net! We’re delighted to have you on board.

What's Next?

Your certificate will soon be installed on your hosting account.
Note that it may take up to 72 hours for the necessary DNS changes to take effect and ready.

That's normal. I remember adding SSL to a website and it took 72 hours just to get the static IP addr. Most godaddy stuff isn't static, although it rarely changes.

Sucks because I may go out of town for a few days before I get it done. Gotta go down to the Low Country. Fingers crossed

Does the SSL cert require a reboot to finish installing...?
