Anybody getting virus alerts when visiting?

Post by pete » Wed Nov 19, 2014 9:52 pm

I had one member ask why they were getting a virus alert when logging in. Anybody seeing this? I don't get any alerts.

"...........the last few times i visited the message board i get:
Infection blocked

URL
hxxp://ib.adnxs.com/bounce?%2Fttj%3Fttj ... %3D1221759

Infection
JS:Agent-DHA [Trj]

I've only gotten one inquiry. I'm thinking this might be a local issue on the member's machine

If you aren't in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?

It looks like a bug is on the member's computer that re-directs them to that url. If you go to that url it tries to load a bug onto your computer. that's my theory

yup a local issue IMHO

I would recommend scanning with your favorite A/V program and Malwarebytes, Spybot Search and Destroy, and maybe even Comodo if you have the time
