The reason I asked the question because there is a fellow in the neighborhood who seems like he wants the kids to have the right to keep and bear arms which is ridiculous. You won't find many people who defend the 2nd Amendment more than I do, but I'm not having kids walk down my street with weapons

That is going too far. Are they mentally able to make the decision to use that weapon? Who's to say they won't use said weapon when they don't need to.
