Larry Gene Bell (October 30, 1949[1] – October 4, 1996) was an American murderer and suspected serial killer in Lexington County, South Carolina, who was electrocuted for the murders of Sharon Faye "Shari" Smith and Debra May Helmick. Bell forced Smith to write a "Last Will and Testament" before he murdered her and taunted her family by telephone.[2]

The walk to the gallows would not be a pleasant one.
He'd still not be enjoying it.
But the drop, the neck break and the quarter turn, is by far the fastest way to execute a murderer.
There is however one problem with hanging, one mistake and the wrong person gets executed.
In 1975, Stefan Kizko was fitted up and wrongly convicted of the murder of Lesley Molseed.
He was acquitted in 1992, but suffering from severe mental health problems as a result of wrongful imprisonment.
He died in December 1993.
The real killer was finally caught in 2006 and identified by his DNA he was convicted in 2007.
Much to my annoyance he didn't get a whole life sentence only a 30 year sentence.
He'd still not be enjoying it.
