Drained the reservoir with tubing attached to a syringe decanting into a screw top wine bottle.
Refilled with new power steering fluid.
Intermittent squeal at full lock seems to have stopped.

Look for glazing, shiny, cracked areas.
Belts are usually not too hard but always a PITA

Holy crow looks like a PITA........and you need a special tool. I would have tried it 20-30 years ago but not these days.
