Wouldn't it have been easier to disconnect the light? Or are they using the ODBC plug to read your ICM?

The State of Texas requires an Inspection to register your vehicle....
Yes, Texas uses OBD II......
I had two problems....ABR light plus TPMS light.....
Both safety issues....
I purchased a Bosch OBD 1200 scan tool for about 230.00$ and had my tire company replace the TPM Sensors (4) for 180.00$.....
Good for another year.....YEAH...

TPMS light? Like the state can't look at your tires and figure out if you understand how to keep them inflated?JDDJR wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 6:01 pmThe State of Texas requires an Inspection to register your vehicle....

But evidently our government in 08/09 decided to make it mandatory for new vehicles....
The bad part about those senors is the built-in battery and you have to replace the complete sensor when the battery dies....
