Jabbed the red-hot tip of a soldering iron into my thumb

yesterday. damn thumb swollen up like crazy today. I highly doubt anything was alive on the iron because it was as hot as could be, but the skin was not sterile. Possibly a bit of solder or flux in the wound

Pete you best get yourself to a doctor or one of those emergency centers and get that cleaned out and get a shot of an antibiotic.
