I own a 1961 KA6CR sailplane designed by a man called Rudolf Kaiser, the first ones were made by Alexander Schleicher in Germany but mine was made under licence by Siebert. It's a joy to fly.
This is a video of me flying it :)

It really is.

I've had soaring flights over my village watching other gliders take off, not find lift, go back into circuit and land.
Mine, even in very weak conditions just wants to stay up when there's even the tiniest bit of lift.

Unfortunately the thermal soaring season is just about over.

I'd like to try paramotoring. Problem is I'm sure my life insurance policy would not pay off if I augered in. Plus I might wet my trousers

I've got friends who do paramotoring, one of my friends has a gyrocopter (like Little Nellie from You Only Live Twice). I just love getting in a thermal and climbing. I got a silver height award this year :)
