How do you "clean up" a million acres of forest, MORON???
WTF do you think? Clearing out dead trees, underbrush, making fire breaks, etc.

President Donald Trump pushed for clear-cutting on Wednesday, urging Californians to "get their act together and clean up their forests and manage their forests."

“They are leaving them dirty,” the president said at a Cabinet meeting, while threatening to withhold funding for fighting fires, the Hill reports. "Old trees are sitting there, rotting and drying. And instead of cleaning it up, they don't touch them, they leave them. And we end up with these massive fires that we're paying hundreds of billions of dollars for to fix, and the destruction is incredible."

Actually I just threw that number out there because I didn't know the actual number.

The actual number is 33 million acres. Of those 33 million the state of California owns just 3 percent. While the federal government owns 57 percent. Maybe you and Drump should get your facts straight before you start running your mouths? :3stooges:

"California Forest Statistics

There are 33 million acres of forest(ed) lands in California.

Federal ownership is 19 million acres = 57%

State and local agencies (including land trusts) own 3%

Privately owned forest lands are 13.3 million acres = 40%

Industrial private owners are 4.7 million acres = 14%

Non-industrial privately owned forest lands are 9 million acres = 26%

Non-corporate private forest lands are 7.9 million acres

REITs and other investment devices are 344,000 acres

90+% of the non-corporate private ownerships are 500 acres or less"
