$8 Billion Worth Of F-22 Raptors Likely Damaged or Destroyed In Hurricane Michael

Post by psk836 » Mon Oct 15, 2018 3:50 pm

It seems sensible to just fly aircraft out of harm's way, but the reality is complicated aircrat such as the F-22 spend alot of time in the hangar getting worked on.

"We know 55 Raptors are based there.

Reportedly, 33 F-22s sought sanctuary at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

That leaves 22 of the $475 million warplanes unaccounted for."

Probably couldn’t get them in the air.

No worries......the Defense Dept is swimming in $$$.

America’s military is so ridiculously awash in dollars.....$8 billion is a drop in the bucket.

Evidently it is perfectly fine (for some) if our service members have substandard equipment

I remember back in 06/07 when Democrats were playing political games with the voting on war funding. Dems inserted a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan, knowing full well Bush would veto it.

What else can you expect from a teacher that entreats his students not to go into the Armed Services after high school and never has a good word to utter for this Country.

► There's no good time to serve in the US military no. There hasn't been for fifty years

There's just too many talented people in the gov't with great ideas about what to do with our war machine, and who to do it to

That's a personal opinion and not very well grounded in truth.

► My opinion is we had a lot of phony, useless wars since WWII, all thunk up by geniuses with access to control of the world's most powerful military
