5 Dem Scandals You Haven't Heard About Yet

**HELP AAN SPREAD THE NEWS YOU WON'T HEAR ANYWHERE ELSE**
Did you ever get the feeling that Democrats get away with highway robbery? They have more than their share of scandals, yet the mainstream media enables them. For that reason, we at American Action News thought we'd give you a rundown of the latest Democrat scandals because we know the media won't.
Here are five jaw-dropping examples of ethically challenged Democrats caught red-handed in ways that would make Republicans front page news. We even threw in a bonus, because it was too funny to ignore.
Share this with your friends, because we know liberal ideologues watching MSNBC and the poor souls stuck at the airport with CNN blaring won't see this!
1.) Dem Candidate's Domestic Abuse Scandal
Archie Parnell, a tax lawyer who ran a surprisingly competitive campaign for South Carolina’s 5th Congressional District in 2017, saw his political fortunes plummet once news broke that he violently attacked his wife according to records from his 1974 divorce. The abuse was reportedly so vicious that it led to his ex-wife telling authorities she feared for her life.
In spite of the revelations, nearly 60 percent of Democrats in SC-05 voted for Parnell in the primary. Republican primary goers would face withering criticism for supporting a verified wife-beater over three other candidates.
Parnell is running for the seat once held by current White House OMB Director Mick Mulvaney, a moderately Republican district. This probably isn't the Democrats' best chance for an upset in 2018.
2.) Claire McCaskill's Plane Troubles
In 2004, Claire McCaskill ran for governor of Republican-trending Missouri, attacking a sitting Democrat for the use of private jets. Eventually, she rode the 2006 blue wave against the Iraq War to victory in a top-tier Senate race. Still, to eke out a victory McCaskill (D-Mo.) ran as an old-time, populist Democrat. In reality, she's much more liberal than she claims, and has served as Obama's campaign chair in Missouri.
In 2011, McCaskill got in some hot water for billing the Treasury Department for her private plane usage (she's coincidentally one of the wealthiest members of the Senate). She said she would "sell the damn plane" after a crafty opponent posted a spoof ad on Craigslist for her private jet – and investigators found out that she didn't pay taxes on it. Fast forward to 2018, and the embattled Senator found herself in even more hot water for using her jet, that she couldn't bear to sell, while supposedly on an RV tour of Missouri.
Her Trump-endorsed Republican opponent, Attorney General Josh Hawley has had fun with her hypocrisy, even as the media sweeps it under the rug.
3.) Joe Manchin, Man of the People?
Speaking of Democrats with ethic troubles, Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) used Senate office funds to pay for travel to fundraisers in California, where the Democrat raised nearly $100,000 (not surprisingly, he's struggled with in-state donations).
That trip is a blatant violation of Senate ethics rules, which declare, "no official resources may be used to conduct campaign activities." This isn't new for Joe Manchin, who had to reimburse the state of West Virginia in 2005 for using a state plane to travel to Alabama to purchase his yacht. RollCall estimated that the Senator's net worth is at $3.3 million; we think he can swing his own airfare, but the media doesn't seem to care. MSNBC's Joe and Mika want you to know that his boat is really something and probably wouldn't care about how he uses his official funds.
4.) Dem Rising Star Compares Trump Victory to 9/11
Suppose for a moment that a Republican compared the election of Barack Obama to 9/11; sounds like front page news, right? Well, a Democrat did just that in Kentucky (of all places). Democrat Amy McGrath – running in Kentucky's 6th Congressional District – compared President Trump's victory over Hillary Clinton to the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, which claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 souls. If a Republican did this, they would have been pressured to resign by now.
5.) DNC Chair Enables Hackers With Foreign Ties
Imagine for a moment that a top Republican hired a Russian IT professional, turned a blind eye to suspicious activity, and then fought to kill an investigation into said activity. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) hired Pakistani-American Imran Awan for years, all while he compromised House emails and servers, possibly exposing them to foreign actors. The Democrat leader tried to quash the investigation and threatened investigators who probed the case, even as Awan and his wife are pleading guilty to bank fraud in a plea deal with the Department of Justice. The first scenario would be on the front page of every major newspaper, but because Schultz is a Democrat, you've barely heard about it – if at all.
