FAKE NEWS!!!

:lo2l:

The Justice Department announced the indictment Friday of a notorious Russian troll farm — naming more than a dozen individual suspects who allegedly worked there — as part of the special counsel’s investigation into criminal interference with the 2016 election.
The Internet Research Agency was named in the indictment, which officials plan to announce at Justice Department headquarters Friday afternoon

From in or around 2014 to the present, defendants knowingly and intentionally conspired with each other (and with persons known and unknown to the grand jury) to defraud the United States by impairing, obstructing, and defeating the lawful functions of the government through fraud and deceit for the purpose of interfering with the U.S. political and electoral processes, including the presidential election of 2016,’’ the indictment states.
The indictment charges that some of the suspects traveled to the United States to gather information to help in the scheme, and that they also impersonated Americans online in order to try to sway voters’ opinions.
The suspects are charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and aggravated identity theft

So they indicted 13 foreign nationals who live in Russia and can’t even be arrested. What was the point ?
Well, since Trump is continuing to say that Vlad insists that Russia hasn't done anything, and he seems to believe his goomba.........in any case, criminality should be indicted.

I wonder if they were able to calculate the influence these criminal efforts had on the choices Americans made in the voting booth.
Impossible to measure precisely since it wasn't one event. That said, to think there was no impact is to believe advertising doesn't work.

Say you went to a grassroots pro-Trump rally and little did you know it was organized by a Russian intelligence operation. At that rally, you were convinced: Trump's the candidate for you.

Or say you saw anti-Hillary tweets coming from what looked like an official local GOP Twitter handle, but it was actually being operated out of St. Petersburg.

Remember: the Russians believed that the best way to damage America was help elect Donald Trump.

btw, hopefully some of the filthy Russians were on that plane that crashed outside of Moscow......because you don't think Vlad will let then come to our "sewer" to face those charges.
So you wish death on people who did nothing to you.

Zero indictments having to do with Trump and Russian collusion, nothing about obstruction of justice.

He's laying the groundwork for further indictments, so that the American public will understand how deep & far reaching this country has been infiltrated. Some individual, an American citizen from California was also indicted; but he swears he had no knowledge that he was giving the Russians a vehicle ( names & bank account #s ) to also help further their agenda in getting Trump elected.

Mueller needed a home run but only got a blooper down the 3rd base line. What a pathetic effort, what a letdown :sipping-coffee:

For one thing, this means that tRump needs to abandon his "no Russian interference" defense.
