FAKE NEWS!!!

:lo2l:

The Justice Department announced the indictment Friday of a notorious Russian troll farm — naming more than a dozen individual suspects who allegedly worked there — as part of the special counsel’s investigation into criminal interference with the 2016 election.
The Internet Research Agency was named in the indictment, which officials plan to announce at Justice Department headquarters Friday afternoon

From in or around 2014 to the present, defendants knowingly and intentionally conspired with each other (and with persons known and unknown to the grand jury) to defraud the United States by impairing, obstructing, and defeating the lawful functions of the government through fraud and deceit for the purpose of interfering with the U.S. political and electoral processes, including the presidential election of 2016,’’ the indictment states.
The indictment charges that some of the suspects traveled to the United States to gather information to help in the scheme, and that they also impersonated Americans online in order to try to sway voters’ opinions.
The suspects are charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and aggravated identity theft

So they indicted 13 foreign nationals who live in Russia and can’t even be arrested. What was the point ?
1) It proves the Russian attack on our democracy is sprawling, sophisticated, and ongoing.

2) It highlights how massive an abdication on Trump's part it is to keep insisting Russian sabotage never happened.
It just reaffirms what we already knew and accomplishs nothing since there will never be a trial and the accused will never be found guilty in a court of law.

Perhaps the indictments serve a larger and as-yet unknown purpose in the web of legal arguments and evidence gathering that the Mueller investigation is putting together. These indictments certainly made it tougher for Trump to fire Mueller.

Perhaps President Trump should instruct the Secret Service to investigate Mueller's role in Over Throwing our Government.....
All involved should HANG....IMO...

Zero indictments having to do with Trump and Russian collusion, nothing about obstruction of justice.

"intentionally conspired with each other to defraud the United States by impairing, obstructing, and defeating the lawful functions of the government through fraud and deceit for the purpose of interfering with the U.S. political and electoral processes, including the presidential election"

Sounds like stuff that goes on during every election everywhere.

I wonder if they were able to calculate the influence these criminal efforts had on the choices Americans made in the voting booth.
