That's right. Doug Jones' Alabama Senate seat.

What are the chances of Democrats holding this seat in two years?

Usually the out of power party picks up in the midterms. That is expected. All Republicans have to do to secure a strong 2020 outcome is to do what they promised the voters. So far here in 2017, that is proving to be quite a challenge for them. The far left though is helping Republicans. Voters have a much better understanding now about what it means to put liberals in charge. So far I think it is safe to say Establishment Republicans are the lesser of two evils, with Trump being the one (admittedly big mouthed) bright spot.
