Sounds like it was an opinion.
Sounds like the birth of a rabbit hole.
Sounds like a discussion, but some might consider that rabbit hole.
By now, I'm pretty sure you are as settled in your opinion as I in mine, so I see little value engaging in "discussion" about the veracity of "proof" about ex-pResident Oblahblah gaming of the system.

Don't you agree?
My opinions are always open to change based on new information. What's the point of posting on a political message board if it isn't to state positions and then defend them or to challenge the positions of others?
I'll bite:

OblahblahBio.jpg
I don't see how that proves he used his race for personal gain. I see how people tout his race as being significant considering the success he achieved.
That example stands on its own, but it's just one of many examples history holds.

I suspect you are well aware of the many debates during Oblahblahs first campaign run - but choose to probe "me" for what I think I "know".

This is the bunny trail mentioned at the opening of the request for "proof". It's also the impetus behind the question "must we rehash", I suspect you know that too.
What's that an example of? I'm not familiar with this picture containing his bio. I don't know who wrote it or if it's even real.

I'm not that familiar with them as I was not a supporter of his and my attention was primarily on the GOP debates. Did he say something in them that proves he used his race for personal gain?

It's a discussion. If you don't want to discuss the claim you made then just say so.
Bull snot. Not interested in digging out old links and reopening dialog on an already beat to death topic.

The lines were drawn on this one long ago.
Okay. Don't support your claim. There's certainly no obligation that you do so.

Louisiana law stated that 1% negro blood meant someone was a negro.

And the majority of blacks in America are about 1/4 white

But appearance is everything. Obviously.

including MANY lefties keep referring to a man who is as much white as he is black as "black" only?
If you're speaking of 44

He often spoke of his white mother

Also made a trip to Ireland to visit the birthplace of his Caucasian side

He's definitely a African American male
He is in fact bi-racial. Black AND White.
His fake birth certificate says he's black or African American

Ut's based on the long-term basis in American culture, custom, and law, of the "one-drop" rule. Until the '60's, ANY known Negro ancestry deprived one of citizenship in many jurisdictions.

And while the legal definition has been eliminated, "the rule" lives on in much of the culture.

IOW, Obama - that is who you're talking about, right? Why not say so? - identifies as "black" because the society as a whole considers him black.

I would agree, but it does still permeate the society.
