A trillion dollar debt increase in four months? That sure seem like a lot.
I dunno about you but a trillion slips of paper is hard to relate too.

Just for fun & perspective, let's boil that number down to something even a public school graduate can understand.

A trillion dollars burned over a 4 month period breaks down to: $8,333,333,333.33 per day (assuming 30 day month).

A number like that still seems crazy high.
I mean, a eight thousand three hundred million is a whole lotta cheese burgers.
So let's reformat it the way government does when it reports on itself: $8.3B/day.
Isn't that more user friendly?

How about this number:
• $347,222,222.22 per hour

Or this number:
• $5,787,037.04 per second

That's right. For every second of every day, 7 days a weeks for the last 4 months, the US government created and disposed of 5 Million 787 thousand 37 dollars of your money.
Tick, there goes $5,800,000.
Tick, another $5,800,000.
Tick, $5,800,000. Every. Second. Of. Every. Day.
You get the picture.

Keep in mind, those numbers are only the increase. The underlying debt is still 33X larger.
Between the border invasion and government debt, one might get the idea they are trying to break the country.

NAH, that just can't be true. That would mean the federal government is like the worlds largest organize crime family.
And that simply can't happen here.

Remember when adding 4 trillion dollars to a 5 trillion dollar debt over a period of 8 years and getting a 9 trillion dollar debt was unpatriotic? I do .

Me too.

But, what's a burn rate of $6,000,000 per second among friends?
