Democrats force workers to pay union dues.

Unions then pay a cut of the extorted money to the Democrat Party.

In politics this is known as the circle of life, but it's been on life support as more and more states drop the union mandate and now only 10% of the American labor force pays union dues for Democrats to graft onto.

Note that most union workers no longer support the Democrat Party, but their leadership does. Meaning rank and file workers are forced to support a political party against their will.
Because unions don't give to Republicans?

Are you still trying to find that provision not-so-Breitbart fooled you into believing was there?
Right to work states allows employees in union shops to opt-out of union dues. Many states in the rust belt are right-to-work states including MI, IN, and WI.

I'd support that if they didn't get to take advantage of the union's negotiations. You don't pay dues the negotiate your own salary and benefits

Right to work is the law. They don't have to pay dues. IIRC, in some states, those that opt-out are charged a fee. I doubt that's all of the right-to-work states.

It is the law. I don't support them using the union to negotiate wages and benefits without paying into the union. Many states, if not all, that are right to work allow that.

The problem with that is there needs to be equal pay for equal work. Paying someone with the same experience doing the same job more because they belong to a union seems unfair to me.

Why does there need to be? If someone negotiated a better deal then everyone should get it?

If he were in the union he wouldn't be making less, so all the more reason for him/her/them to join the union.
Unless of course he/she/they is happy earning less than union wages..

These are likely blue collar jobs with scale pay. Similar to government jobs with grades and steps. They have unions in the government that bargain with management. Whatever they get , non-union members also get.

what does this have to do with infrastructure and jobs???? All that's going to do is put people out of work!
