Tax Revenues Up 1% Despite Trump Tax Cuts

But I thought Trump's tax cuts were going to lead to $1 Trillion in new deficits.

Note however that government spending increases continue to outstrip tax receipt increases. Just like always.

In fact since WWII, government spending has increased by $1.17 for each $1 in new tax revenue.

So don't let them tell you our government has a revenue problem. It clearly has a spending problem that it has no interest in fixing.

It has always been a spending problem. The government wastes so much money on questionable programs .
